Congratulations on your new position! I know you still have a few weeks before you report, but the Kansas School Superintendents’ Association would like to invite you to the 2021 New Superintendents Workshop.
Each year KSSA offers this no cost event to support new superintendents along with superintendents new to Kansas with resources to assist you in making a smooth transition into your new role.
As your last 14 months have adjusted, so has our workshop. We are planning to host one, maybe two online sessions in early June prior to you traveling to Topeka on June 15 for the two day in-person collaboration and conversation. Our goal is to help you connect and begin to establish the needed relationships and conversations online we know are necessary to support the transition into your new role.
The June 15th and 16th workshop will be held at the KASB and USA-Kansas offices at 1420 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka. We will be abiding by all health regulations set forth by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Shawnee County Health Department.
