Building School and Community Culture
School change never happens alone. Great principals know they must involve the community, but engaging an already busy community can be more than a challenge. It can be overwhelming.
Even if school change happens internally, without an engaged school community, significant change is often not sustained beyond a change in leadership or key staff.
Trevor Green, a former National Principal of the Year at Toppenish H.S. in Washington and Joe Nelson, who rebuilt Pass Christian Public School, in Mississippi, from the back of his pickup truck following hurricane Katrina to a National Blue Ribbon School only 7 years later will be on hand on October 2, 2018 and Jan. 22, 2019 to work with Principals on a handful of simple but valuable activities to help struggling and successful building level leaders engage and grow your community of success.
